The Shaking House
On Saturday the house shook from side to side. I felt it, very short but quite a strong shaking, and thought for a moment that something had run into the building, maybe a big tractor, or a military plane had gone over very low - But - there was no noise at all. The big fellow didn't feel it as he was reading in his hammock. He heard a bit of creaking but thought it was me, walking overhead. So, how did I discover what the shake-up was?
